As Crowdfrica looks to help individuals and businesses impacted by COVID-19, it is opening its platform crowdfrica.org to individuals, groups, and organizations to fundraise for COVID19 and partnering with various third parties to help Users cross-promote campaigns in order to drive more support. Such third parties that provide or facilitate links, tools, widgets or other features allow You to access other sites, services and resources provided by such third parties but also allow such third parties to access campaigns and distribute campaigns created on Crowdfrica without obtaining Your consent. By starting a Crowdfrica campaign and applying to be part of the various COVID-19 initiatives, You consent to your Campaign being shared on each such third party site and You agree to be bound by their respective privacy policies and terms of service.

While you don’t need to sign up to make a donation and can browse some sections of our Website without being a registered member, we collect personally identifiable information (email address, name, phone number, credit card / debit card / other payment instrument details, etc.) when you are making a donation. We do use your contact information to send you information such as updates, receipts, upcoming events, newsletters, etc.

If at any time a User wishes to review the information provided to Crowdfrica at the time of registering with Crowdfrica or at any time thereafter, you may do so by signing into your account and amending the same. Refund

A donor has five (5) business days to request for a refund after contributing. If a campaign you support does not proceed to completion, we'll email you with the following options that would ensure that your donation still support a life-changing campaign. You can either: 1) Choose another campaign that inspires you, or 2) Donate into the general fund We send these emails the day after a campaign is rejected, canceled, interrupted, removed or suspended, and donors have 30 days to choose an option. If no action is taken in that time we'll apply the funds to an urgent campaign in need and we would still send you an update about the use of your donation.

Protecting Children's Privacy

Our website is not meant to be used by children under the age of 18, unless with explicit parental consent as detailed in our User Agreement.

We do not knowingly collect or solicit information from anyone under the age of 13. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information as soon as practicable from our server.
